Background
Savfin AG was established in 1992 and is based in Switzerland. The experience behind the company reaches back to the 1970s — starting in aircraft maintenance and avionics, then expanding into airline start-ups, flight school operations, AOC management and ACMI fleet operations.
Over the decades, the company has been directly involved in building three airline operations from the ground up — one of them to flag carrier status with scheduled services and its own MRO facility. Separately, Savfin operated its own narrowbody and widebody ACMI fleet, managed aircraft, ran cargo programs and consulted on AOC certification and reservation systems.
That hands-on history across the full aviation chain is what drives the business today. Aircraft and engines are evaluated by people who have operated, maintained and managed them — not just traded them.
